Cute, convenient and affordable flat close to great pubs (Golden Lion) (Staff of Life), a great Thai restaurant (3 Monkeys), a great Pizza place(Site Pizza). I took a wonderful class in town and my husband had lovely walks each day by the canal which our deck overlooked. And there’s a great antique store right across the street. Nick was warm, welcoming and flexible with our check in and full of recommendations.

We booked the apartment to celebrate a 60th birthday with family. The apartment is beautiful, lots of attention to detail and spacious and very responsive hosts. Lovely views across the canal and the hills. Particularly liked walking along the canal for breakfast and the local pub is only across the road. Loved it so much, we booked to come back again whilst still staying there.

AMAZING STAY 💕 sheila is a great host and you'll definitely get your moneys worth by staying here. The garden was lovely the flat was warm and welcoming very clean and smelt lovely. You can really tell the amount of effort she's put in. Definitely one of the most relaxing stays I've had. Only a ten minute walk from the station and five minutes away from the city centre full of cute cafes and local shops where you'll be sure to find something to buy. Sheila has a red book in the flat that's full of helpful tips for the local area from best places to eat to how to get from a to b. Definitely recommend to anyone who is tempted 10000/10💕💕

Great value and great location - I had to cut my stay short due to work commitments so only got to experience this Airbnb momentarily. Ideal for the railway station (2 minutes way). Has parking on the drive and is tastefully decorated and modern. Hopefully i can stay again!

Lovely house, spotlessly clean and lovely and responsive hosts. The house was perfect for us, and we had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay in this house again, it was very easy to get into the city centre and the information that Jamie and Eden provided was really helpful. Loved our stay here! Properly cosy and charming and above all, great location for walks, pubs and restaurants. Centre of town and the new Hepworth Gallery just a short drive away; YSP just a short drive the other way – great attractions! And a pleasure to come back here after a day out. We spent a lovely few days in Bradley's house. It's furnished and decorated very tastefully, and we particularly enjoyed the festive decorations, as our stay covered the New Year's Eve. The welcome treats were very thoughtful. The house is within an easy walk to the town centre - with a good selection of shops and a multiplex cinema. It's also very close to a park with a café. The bathroom was a bit chilly during the cold spell (as it's located in an extension to the house), but the heating was easy to switch on and it warmed up all the rooms quickly. The only table (in the lounge) was a bit small for a family of 3, but we managed. The side tables can also be used for "TV dinners", if needed. :) Overall, the value of this property is fantastic, and we'll happily stay there again!

The Rambler's Retreat is a great stay for people looking for a restful stay with fantastic pubs nearby for drinks, food and entertainment. The location is superb for walks in the countryside with links to Marple canal. Ann was the perfect host by giving us enough space to explore whilst always being there at the end of the phone if we needed her.

Very nice apartment. easy parking. good transport links with bus stop 100 metres away. place had all the comforts of home.nice and quiet to. Sule very responsive host. and sent us info for local restaurants things to do. Thank you for a great stay. we will return.

We wanted somewhere just out the town centre where we could walk into if we wanted. The apartment was just perfect, it was all we could of wanted . Clean , modern , quiet and fabulous location. We love walking and running so this property location was perfect as it was right on the country lane that takes you to Fountains Abbey. No issues parking on the side road. Lovely walks along the river and canal Lots nice places to eat

I think that this was my third stay and I'll be back again. Such a lovely peaceful setting and I always feel right at home. Bex was, as ever, very helpful and friendly in her communication. This is a great stay and great value for money.

The apartment is as described - cosy, compact and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thought has gone into details - such as nice toiletries in the bathroom and a ‘Struggling to sleep’ box by the bed. Andy, the host, was helpful and easy to contact. Another great stay here and I would love to come back again if I am in the area. Thank you Andy.

Hosts communicated well with me before arriving and when I got they there they had put the heating and the kettle on! Flat was exceptionally clean and perfect for a trip away for work. Kitchen was fully functioning and well equipped and the extra touches like milk and breakfast items were much appreciated. Hosts were very friendly but also respected my privacy and their two Labradors sealed it for me! Would definitely stay again for work or a short break

We really enjoyed our stay, was a lovely location and seeing so much wildlife so close was amazing. The shower was a great suprise really strong water pressure. but seeing deer right outside was my personal highlight
