Cave Beach is located 40min drive away on the southern side of Booderee National Park. There is often good surf particularly in a Northeast wind and South or Southeast swell
Nestled deep into Booderee national park this beach is a must visit. Beautiful natural rock formations, crystal clear water and hidden behind natural forest makes this spot a gem in the rough.
Caves beach is the best surf beach in the area. If you're not a strong swimmer you might not want to start here as the waves can get pretty rough but if you're after surf lessons this is the place you'd get them. Keep in mind it's quite a walk down to the beach and after a day of swimming and being in the sun the walk back up can be challenging if you're carrying lots of things

The walk in from the carpark is well worth it. Cave Beach is on the southern side of the bay and fronts the ocean. There’s a lookout to take in the spectacular view . A popular destination for surfers with the potential for huge waves and of course there is a cave to explore. Not the place however for poor swimmers.
