This was the perfect stay as a gateway to the Coonawarra region and surrounding areas. Georgie’s cottage was full of character, peaceful, well appointed and also gave us an informative background to Penola’s history. We so appreciated the warm welcome we received by the host (full marks for the Tassie Jantz also!) We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here if we visit the region again.

This is like second time staying and it was as magical as the first time! Loved every moment and especially the private wine tour with Scott! Love your work and place!

Henri’s place would be one of the best BNB we have been in, he goes over and above to make your stay complete. This is the only real BNB we have found as far as provisions he supply’s , from cheese platters, chocolate, cereals , bacon n eggs, . Henri listens to your requirements such as gluten free . Fresh fruit… seriously all you need is your protein and a bit of veg … everything else is provided. So much to do around the area , wineries, places to eat… Henri’s place is clean and fresh.. has everything you need.. a relaxing spa, set up like a real little cottage should be. Would highly recommend you try this BNB you won’t be disappointed, some may think it’s a bit more expensive but totally worth it with what Henri provides. 3rd time here and we will definitely return again and again ..

Cumquat Cottage is a beautiful place: an old bluestone cottage typical of the area, brought to an exceptional standard by meticulous attention to detail. All aspects are positive: internal layout and facilities, gardens (secluded rear garden with plenty of shade and a large covered deck), secure off-street parking, a short walk west into town and east to Norwood Parade, great gelato just around the corner (!), very quiet peaceful location (no through traffic), everything perfect on our arrival. Above all, Meriel and Patrick are wonderful hosts, friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!

Thank you Karen, we all loved our stay at ‘under the vines’ spotlessly clean, so very comfortable and a peaceful, picturesque location. It had everything we could possibly need and so much more. The food array provided for breakfasts was amazing. Thank you for a memorable stay.

We loved every minute of our stay at The Retreat. From the delicious breakfast provided, to the detailed (& downloadable!) home instruction app- everything about the stay was restful, peaceful and relaxing. The host was quick to help out with any queries. The location is divine and we almost didn't want to leave The Retreat at all (even though it is perfectly located to head out & explore the Adelaide Hills!) because it was just a dream to stay in. The views, the spa, the reading nook... we can't rave about it enough. The perfect getaway! ❤️

We enjoyed our stay at Yevs place. Lovely assortment of breakfast supplies. Unfortunately the Rising Sun Hotel was closed for the week we were in Auburn had looked forward to having some meals there during our stay.

Lovely cottage decorated beautifully. All we needed for our 5 night stay with our Jack Russell terrier along. Great carport and lots of places to sit and relax. Easy walk to Church Street and the Royal Oak hotel with its pet friendly beer garden and excellent meals. Definitely recommend Airs Cottage when visiting Penola.

We had a lovely stay at Milt and Anne Marie’s house. It was quirky and full of interesting artwork, and we loved the light filled upstairs space. There was everything we needed in the kitchen - we appreciated being left essentials like milk, bread etc and also having the use of items left in the larder by previous guests. Milt and Anne Marie, and Myrtle the dog, were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Lots to do in the city, all within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The house was very cosy, The kitchen was fully equipped, with the addition of spices and cooking condiments if needed. Plenty of towels and beach towels supplied as well as bathroom necessities which is great for a traveller that likes to carry little. The back yard was very quaint and peaceful, great for my morning coffee and read. The house was is in a great spot, walking distance to beach , shops, and many great coffee shops and restaurants. Overall very satisfied and will definitely return .

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Camille's place, perfect way to end a long roadtrip. The photos don't do justice to how spacious the place is and the kitchen was well stocked and charming. We really appreciated Camille's flexibility and responsiveness - 10/10 would recommend !

We had a great 3 days at Anna's cottage. Had everything we needed for our stay. The girls loved the bathrooms and bath! We needed to book this at very short notice and everything was ready & waiting. Thanks you.

A beautiful cottage, with well thought out details. Comfortable beds and bedding, very cute outdoor area. We enjoyed getting ready here for a wedding. The place is also right in town, but feels very private and quite. Thank you for having us!

Pattersons Cottage is a beautifully presented little house. Very clean and gorgeously decorated with an eclectic theme. The cottage had everything we could have wanted and needed and Samantha’s instructions on location and entry were very clear and concise. The location to the Main Street is a five minute walk and you have lots to choose from when deciding where to eat. Highly recommend this lovely place to stay while in Naracoorte and the surrounding areas.

Gorgeous settings, so peaceful and tranquil. It was an 8-minute drive to the main street of Mclaren Vale and we were so pleased that we didn't book in the main drag. The setting made you feel like we were so secluded. We heard nothing except the birds and had kangaroo's out the back. The place itself was perfect, we couldn't have asked for anything extra. Loved it.

Duck Cottage is a beautiful and sensitively restored dwelling with a wonderful compliment of wildlife - an inquisitive blue wren and regular kangaroos - adding to the appealing serenity and comfort of the interior and exterior with thoughtful consideration to all the little touches . We look forward to returning.

An excellent setting for a friend’s catch up. So much space and well set out. We loved the terrace area for an evening relax and the kitchen had everything we needed. Mel was great to communicate with. We would highly recommend The Cottage.

We dont get to stay in mount gambier very often and at a last minute booking found this little place to stay. it was clean , lights were on to greet us that made it feel homely after arriving late in the day. cosy and location waas fantastic as we walked to the main street etc. thanks for having us x

We stayed at The Zen house for my daughter's wedding which was at Golding Winery, only about 10mins drive away. what a beautiful spot and the Zen House was all that it was described and then some. So clean and Elizabeth was so responsive she even left some breakfast amenities for us. There were a coup of chickens out the back and Elizabeth had left us fresh eggs in the fridge. Was so peaceful and quiet. great location there was a bakery on the corner and the main st in Woodside is just around the corner. Everything was so convenient. Would highly recommend the Zen House and will stay there again. Thank you Elizabeth 🤗

We loved our stay in Robe!!! Angela's place is in an amazing location!! From the back grass area you can walk straight through to the main street, and the other way is a path to the beach! Classic beach shack experience with everything you could possibly need.
