This is an extraordinary place. The house sits above the others on the ridge, so there are unobstructed views in every direction. The yard is a stunning mature garden with trees the owner played in as a child. The kitchen is enormous and there is so much living space! I never wanted to go out, but we were 10 minutes from both old growth redwoods AND beach walks! I can't recommend this place enough!

An EXCEPTIONAL place to stay! The house was stunning, impeccably maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. It had everything we needed, including high-end appliances, a fully stocked kitchen, and our favorite —a relaxing steam shower. The backyard with the BBQ was perfect for unwinding and spending time with family. Kenney, the host, was responsive and easy to work with and provided clear communication about everything. Our experience here was outstanding, and we highly recommend it!

We came to Fresno to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday and the house was perfect to be able to all be together and make meals together. The backyard was gorgeous but a little too cold to go swimming. We would stay here again in the summer to get a chance to use it next time!

This was our third stay at the Blue Whale Bungalow, and it remains our favorite place to stay in Rio del Mar! Mariam is a wonderful and generous host who immediately remembered our family and welcomed our two dogs. The Blue Whale Bungalow is clean and cozy, with everything you need to enjoy the beach or relax indoors. It is located just two blocks from the beach, where you can enjoy the ocean breeze, search for sea glass, and admire the beautiful sunsets. We look forward to visiting the Blue Whale Bungalow very soon!

The best hosts! They were so nice and helpful the entire time. The house was amazing 👏 the hot tub heated up superfast and was relaxing.

Absolutely awesome place. Super clean, everything we needed was there - and labeled! - plus exciting extras, like popcorn, peppermint bark, fancy glassware that really added to the moment, and the espresso machine was a dream come true! The automatic lights in the bathroom was also a plus. Great night of sleep, super comfortable and very quiet. No complaints. And the backyard is HUGE, our dog may have had the most fun of everyone :)

Thanks to host Mina for their kindness and flexibility in allowing us to stay an extra hour. Our experience in their home was wonderful, and we felt very well taken care of. Everything was perfect, and we hope to stay again in the future! Highly recommended!

Excellent place and perfect location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Checking in instructions were clear and easy to follow. We were in town visiting family, will definitely consider staying here again in the future. Host were very responsive and friendly. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, great location and definitely enjoyed the privacy it offered our family.

Hosts were extremely responsible and friendly. The place is very whimsically decorated, peaceful and playful at the same time. We enjoy staying at Casa Luna Azul.

Ann is an amazing host. She was very communicative and provided awesome suggestions for food. She left very detailed instructions on how to check and how to check out. The place itself was cozy and awesome. So close to all the restaurants in town as well as the stores. I would definitely stay here again!

My family and I came out to California after experiencing a monumental loss. I wanted a quiet and beautiful place for us to get away for a few days, to heal some and meet up with near by family to handle a few personal matters. It was peaceful and beautiful, everything I ever hoped for. Gary and his wife were beyond kind and helpful, and I’ll absolutely come back.

The instructions for check in and finding the place were clear but coming after dark made it hard to find the path! Consider putting lights on the path and maybe putting the name of the person staying on the door to help them find it a little easier. Overall, wonderful home! Very peaceful area! Wish we could have stayed longer :)

If I could give a rating of 6 stars, I would. This is my go-place when I have to be in the Bay Area.....if it is available. Peaceful is amazing to work with. It has a great location, gated parking, very comfortable bed and more

This was the cleanest AirBnB we've ever stayed in! Pristine! Tidy! Stunning ocean views from both the living room & primary bedroom. The entire villa has been remodeled yet still has the Old World Charm and coziness. This Villa is located on the 2nd floor of North Bluff - is very private - has a pool jacuzzi just steps away. The resort offers many amenities, restaurant, bar, room service (or pick up) massage, sauna - endless. Aptos Village is right across the street - walking distance offering many shops, market and a great place for pizza and Italian food. We will definitely stay with Sue again - as soon as we can! Next time, we'll try her other property #33. Sue is a GREAT hostess in every area and has earned Super Host many times over!

We had an amazing stay at Ahnalisa’s beautiful home in Monterey! The place was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The views were absolutely stunning — waking up to them every morning was a treat. It’s also in a perfect location: peaceful, yet just a short and easy walk to everything we wanted to explore. Ahnalisa was a wonderful host and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Monterey!

Great place to stay in, feels like home, kids was happy and slept well.

Marc’s beach view condo was absolutely beautiful. Spent a girls weekend there and it was very comfortable for three people. Kitchen was fully stocked, fireplace was nice and cozy. He was very flexible with our check-in time. I highly recommend this place if you’d like a peaceful location & quite beautiful ocean view. This is a perfect location in between Santa Cruz and Monterey/Carmel.

We stayed at David’s place because we went to a concert across the street at the convention center. Great location for that and we were very comfortable inside the apartment. We would stay there again for sure!

Loved this place! Right by Capitola wharf so it was super easy to walk downtown for dinner and shopping. The apartment was bigger than I expected, super clean, and had everything we needed. Jennifer was very helpful and got back to us right away when we had questions. Definitely staying here again next time we visit!

Staying at Seascape was the perfect kid-friendly vacation. The pool was easy to access from our condo and the views were beautiful. The condo's set-up with two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs was great for our family of 5. The private beach was beautiful - we saw otters, whales, and my son found two perfect sand dollars walking down the beach. It was a little bit of a trek to get down to the beach with three little kids and all the beach gear, but once we were there no one wanted to leave. Several near-by restaurants were delicious, especially the newly opened Dos Pescados. It was fairly easy to get into Santa Cruz too, but we did have to time traffic or it would double the drive time (to almost 45 minutes).

The view from this property was extraordinary with amazing sunsets from the deck each night. The location was perfect to visit Santa Cruz one day and Pinnacles National Park the next. The host was very responsive. We’ll definitely save this to our wishlist.
