We had a lovely stay at Casa Alva and found David to be a really helpful, honest, thoughtful host. The villa has a v peaceful location with beautiful sea views, especially from the living area (on the first floor) and its large wraparound balcony. The pool is a very good size, with a proper deep end, so great for families with bigger kids - and heated! We asked David if he would heat it for us earlier in the season than usual (we stayed in early April) and he kindly agreed, which made a huge difference to our stay - thanks, David! The outside kitchen with charcoal BBQ, sink and fridge overlooking the pool is really great. Be aware it's an approx 25 minute walk into town/the beach (15 mins to Baptista/Spar supermarkets) - all downhill in, all uphill going back! We didn't hire a car, and found this walkable (you can also walk to Espiche) tho Bolt taxis and local buses are also easily available. We didn't have small kids with us tho - ours are tweenagers. All in all - recommended!

We loved our stay at Jinny’s place; gorgeous, spacious house with all amenities. The nearby beach and villages are amazing as well. We would definitely recommend this place!

Craig is an amazing host, always here to help, very discreet, extremely responsive and flexible and super nice. His house was perfect for us as we stayed as 2 families, very well equipped, with multiple places to chill and relax as the day goes by, the pool is sensational and just perfect with kids. The lightings at night is great, we love the house and its garden. thanks so much Craig for this amazing stay.

Vi var her 12 stk. med storfamilien frå Norge og Tyskland og koste oss veldig. Vi hadde god plass fordelt på 3 etasjer. Det meste var på plass. Det var fint å bu så sentralt, men likevel så roleg. Det hadde vore bra om ein kunne ha skaffa noen fleire stolar og solskjerming. Tusen takk, vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Our stay here was fabulous! This house is peaceful, private, in a nice location, and just as promised in the description. We enjoyed morning coffee outdoors and a glass of wine in the evening while overlooking the beautiful the hills. The pool, views, and outdoor tub made our holiday extra special- kids and adults both agreed it was a wonderful place. We hope to return again!

Claire was simply a superb host. The house was absolutely clean, the communication was perfect, even her recommendations based on our interests were exactly on point. Whenever there was a question Claire answered almost instantly. I can only recommend this beautiful house to anyone who does not want to stay directly in the center, but it is only a 5 minute drive. One minor thing for the interested, there is no coffee machine, but the supermarket a few metres away does have a coffee machine with actually fine tasting coffee. Thank you very much Claire, hope to see you again someday!

Many thanks to Lisa & David for yet again another fantastic stay at our favourite villa, Casa Valhalla. If your looking for a holiday destination that ticks all the boxes for all the family young & old well this is the place for you. The villa is amazing and so clean and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. Lisa & David are the perfect hosts and are most helpful if you need them. We are already planning our next visit.

We came for my mum's 60th and all absolutely loved it. The villa was very modern and exactly as described. Mariola was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions. Location was very ideal, about a 15 min walk from the Old Town but note was quite hilly. It was also just around the corner from an Aldi & a Lidl. Taxis were very cheap and restaurants and bars all reasonably priced.

The villa was absolutely beautiful, pristine and had everything we could have wanted. Very spacious, great for a group of 10. Amazing sunsets. Location is remote - ideal for those who want to get away from it all.

Deze villa is een stuk beter dan de foto’s zeggen. Het is ruim opgezet en er is altijd een zitje beschikbaar in de schaduw. Zat handdoeken aanwezig dus die hoef je niet mee te nemen. Genoeg koelkastruimte(zelf een extra koelkast in de garage en nog een extra diepvrieskast). De bedden zijn wel aardig hard dus dat was even wennen. Verder is de ligging heel centraal. Wij hebben alles met de uber gedaan en die waren er met 5 minuten en kost €7-€10 voor een ritje naar strand Ferragudo. Binnen is er een zeer groot tv scherm aanwezig met satelliet tv. Ook een chromecast aanwezig dus je kan Netflix streamen. Heel handig als je de kindjes even achter de tv wilt zetten. Al met al een super verblijf!!

Das Haus ist ein Traum. Wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Küche ist mehr als voll ausgestattet. In der Inneneinrichtung steckt viel Liebe drin. Ganz nach unserem Geschmack. Das Haus und der Service ist uneingeschränkt weiterzuempfehlen. Danke für die schöne Zeit. Wir möchten auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Casa Xyza!!!! The house is absolutely beautiful!!!!! Extremely clean and comfortable!! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need!!! The pool is perfect!!! Outside spaces are fabulous. The roof top is great for sunset and viewing the stars at night!!! We loved every bit of our week! My family was sad to leave! Ferragudo is a beautiful little fishing town which is a short walk from the house. There is a beach you can walk to with a great beach restaurant! Also another beautiful beach about a 4 minute drive from the house that was our favorite!! Definitely listen to the hosts restaurant recommendations especially Ferragudas Terrace right in town. We hope to visit this wonderful home agai soon!!!

A stunning villa. We were 2 families with 5 teenagers and there was plenty of space for us all. The pool and balcony area were especially fabulous-the view is even better than the photos. It’s in a perfect location with several beaches, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. A taxi into Ferragudo was only €5. It’s a small town with nice restaurants and just a few shops. Good supermarkets were an easy drive away. Francisco was really helpful both before and during our stay. He made some good restaurant recommendations and sorted surf lessons for us, including pick up from the villa which was amazing. A fabulous holiday-would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Das Haus und der Pool waren in einem makellosen Zustand und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Viel Platz für zwei Familien mit Kindern. Wir hatten den Pool gegen Aufpreis beheizen lassen und waren sehr froh darüber, da die Kinder so trotz recht kalten Wetters den Pool nutzen konnten und viel Spaß darin hatten. Die Kommunikation mit Marco war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und er hat binnen Minuten geantwortet und auch immer mal nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist.Das hätte nicht besser sein können. Die Umgebung war schön ruhig und privat und dennoch die nächsten Restaurants und Strände binnen 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir hatten trotz des schlechten Wetters eine tolle Woche !Vielen Dank dafür

Absolutely a beautiful villa in a peaceful setting. There is a large supermarket nearby and the old town Albuferia and beaches are only a 8 to10 minute drive away. The villa has all the amenities you need and is well maintained. The grounds and pool area are large with plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade. Large patio table and chairs. Large brick charcoal bbq setup. Nice loungers and umbrellas for shade at the pool which was great and came in very handy. Very spacious bedrooms with massive wardrobes each with their own large en-suite bathrooms. Kitchen was extremely well equipped with a great supply of everything we needed. The laundry room has a washing machine, and each bedroom has air conditioning. We felt very safe at the property as there were locks and shutters for the doors and a locked gate to exit and enter. We were a group of 6 with 4 adults and kids age of 4 and 10 and stayed for 10 nights. We came in late and were able to self check in. The host had arranged us some small snacks, drinks and some breakfast which was great. Everything in the trip went well and we had no real issues in the villa. The kids loved the pool which was a good place to relax and cool during hotter hours. The place is located on a quite high hill which offers a nice view to the sea and the vity but makes walking down (and especially back up) to marina or old town a bit more difficult for the older people. But occasionally we used an app for rides which take 5mins to arrive and cost only average of 5euros. The location is quiet and peaceful! Using the showers at the same time at least in the 2nd floor had some issues with warm water and pressure but it wasn't a big deal. All in all can recommend.

Stunning location- peaceful and full of nature, great views, fab sized house for our family of 4, spacious indoor and outdoor spaces. We loved the pool (way bigger than we thought it would be) and the various terraces and gardens were a hit with the kids for adventuring. The outdoor kitchen area was a real bonus. Super clean throughout- we’d love to come back again.

Steve is a fantastic host responds quickly and helpful. We had a fabulous stay in your villa. It is beautiful you have thought of everything. Welcome hamper. Little shampoo, conditioner and shower gels in bathrooms. Hairdryers too. We had such a good time didn’t want to leave. Would love to stay again. Highly recommend.

A lovely villa in a quiet neighbourhood just a short drive from beautiful beaches and fantastic restaurants. I stayed here with my family including two young children and we had everything we needed for the week. We would recommend this place to others!

We spent a fabulous and relaxing week at Guy’s villa. The property is so spacious and had great facilities. We loved the swimming pool, pool table and table tennis. The gardens are beautiful and very private and peaceful. We self-catered a lot and there was everything we needed in the kitchen. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Un séjour fabuleux dans une villa exceptionnelle où l’on sent que James et sa famille ont mis tout leur cœur pour créer un maison cocooning à leur image et dans laquelle on se sent bien ! De très grands espaces, un superbe jardin, très bien équipé avec des meubles et objets de grandes qualités, une décoration superbe, une literie excellente, une super cuisine ou l’on a plaisir à préparer de bons petits plats… en bref si vous souhaitez un petit coin de paradis pour vous reposer et vous ressourcer alors n’hésitez pas ! La situation géographique est parfaite pour rayonner sur toute cette zone de l’algarve… Nous garderons des souvenirs précieux de ces vacances chez James… encore 🙏

Wir waren mit zwei Familien mit Kindern in dem Haus und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort! Als es stark regnete und wir Sorge hatten, dass eventuell Wasser ins Haus fließen könnte weil der Abfluss verstopft war, hat Carla sehr schnell reagiert und sich darum gekümmert dass das Problem behoben wird. Vielen Dank dafür! Das Haus ist groß und schön eingerichtet, wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.
