Don't drink the tap water!
The water here is treated, however the infrastructure has many breaches so the chance of contamination is too high to risk it. No need to panic if you slip up, but it is best avoided
Be sure you only drink, make ice cubes, brush your teeth and cook with the bottled water from the dispenser in the laundry room. The tap water is just fine for washing dishes. Vinegar and water are great for washing any fresh produce you buy.
And keep your mouth shut in the shower! :-) You can sing...just don't let the water in your mouth.
If you need additional water, contact Daniel and he's have it delivered.

Screens on windows
During the day, we encourage you to open up the windows and enjoy the ocean breeze! All windows and the terrace sliders have screens. Please keep the screens closed at all times to reduce the number of mosquitos that come into the apartment.
If you run the AC at night, be sure to keep the windows and bedroom doors closed to maximize efficiency!
