Honestly the perfect romantic getaway, Felt just what we needed to re connect as a couple. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. And great facilities for cooking and treating ourselves. We will be back.

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay and so spacious for a big family. Everything was thought of in advance making it very easy for guests. I was initially disappointed with an uncomfortable mattress but I told the hosts and they sorted us out with a new one the same day - could not ask for a better solution. Communication was fantastic too. Keep up the great work guys! Any one interested in this place - do not hesitate ☺️

Robert was a wonderful host, the hot tub was secluded and although in their garden you wouldn’t have known it . Useful suggestions and money off for the nearest pub. The local one is currently shut but the vineyard is only a short walk and offers good value for food and drinks. Robert kindly drove us there which was an added bonus . We will definitely return when we can . Thank you Robert and Sue.

The bothy didn’t disappoint. Beautiful and peaceful. The cottage had everything you needed with a wood burner and hot tub which we enjoyed using . Chrissy was a great host , checking in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay . I would recommend having breakfast at the potting shed and there also a lovely pub which is in walking distance. We had a lovely relaxing few days and wouldn’t hesitate recommending this beautiful place . We will be back !!!.

Keith’s place was a fabulous place for our girlie weekend away. Cosy, peaceful and we had everything we needed. There were thoughtful touches such as milk, breakfast goodies, fruitbowl, coffee etc and also robes and flip flops for the hot tub. Sky etc for entertainment too. The kitchen was cosy but had everything you would need to make small meals. Keith’s house was attached to the cottage so he was on hand to check we had everything we needed but gave us privacy too. The time in the hot tub was just lovely and he had made sure the water was fresh for us. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed at Crestyl cottage for two nights and it was absolutely perfect. The property was spotless and had everything you need. There were so many little touches that made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The hosts were really friendly and helpful which made a huge difference. We would definitely love to stay at this property again for longer in the summer months.

Another very comfortable stay in East Hoathly. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Stephanie’s place. It is a high quality AirBnb set in beautiful, quiet rural surroundings. Stephanie is a great host - very responsive as well needed her involvement to sort out the Wi-Fi (which she did quickly). We’ll be back again.

The cottage was exactly what I needed to retreat from the world for a bit. Great setting with dark skies free of light pollution - perfect for star gazing. Dog walks from the property easy to follow and off road away from livestock - ideal. Plenty to see and do in the local area, but also just a great place to chill and relax with all amenities/equipment you need to cook from scratch. A real home from home, practical for dog owners (hard floor) and also very comfortable for their humans! Shower great, bed comfy, slept really well in this peaceful setting. Thanks Louise, loved it!

we loved our stay at manor farm. the house was a treasure trove of beautiful old beams, and architectural features and fun stuff for kids and adults alike. I loved cooking on the aga and playing the piano! way bigger than expected and such a lovely peaceful location. we didn't want to leave

We had a lovely relaxing short break in the cotswolds at maxines cottage. Set in a very picturesque location, it was just what we needed for our last trip away before our baby makes an appearance ☺️

We had a very pleasant couple of days in Gardener’s Cottage. It was just right for a couple and the enclosed garden area was great for our dog. The log burner was really good, warming us up nicely and a plentiful store of logs. It’s set in beautiful surroundings with plenty of walks nearby in the beautiful forest, there was a pub next door which we didn’t try, but it was very quiet and peaceful. it is situated perfectly to visit more of the New Forest and Hampshire, we also went to Winchester which has a very efficient park and ride. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful weekend! The highlight was definitely being able to walk straight onto the beautiful sandy beach—it made our stay feel extra special. The location was perfect, and the house was comfortable and clean. Thank you for hosting us, we hope to return soon!

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

We had such a wonderful stay in Deer View Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, very cosy and comfortable. Everything about the cottage is perfect. The beds are comfortable, a great selection of glasses inc nice large wine glasses, lovely M&S crockery and lots of utensils. Blockley is a beautiful village with some wonderful local walks, with the rest of the Cotswolds close by. We fell in love with Dylesford Organic farm shop and had the most wonderful meal at The Bull in Charlbury. Michelle was very quick to respond during our stay and provided useful information leading up to our stay. Thank you Michelle and family for letting us stay in Deer View Cottage.

Beautiful little bolt hole and great base for spending time in the Cotswolds. Lots of character, all the amenities you need and the most gorgeous log burner for cold nights in February. Judy was the best host, can’t recommend enough. Thank you we will most definitely be returning

Hazel and Andrew are fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome with beautiful touches everywhere. The cottage is stunning and caters to your every need. We were provided with a lovely welcome package and Andrew was so helpful with teaching us to light the log burner. Great walks and we even tried the zip wire (age 56!). Sitting in the boathouse would be heaven - its so peaceful and beautiful. Beds were extremely comfortable with lovely linen and pillows. We really can't fault anything at all and will definitely be back. Recommending The Silver Plough to eat. It's a 2 mile walk there and back and more than worth it for the Sunday roast dinner (ask for extra roasties, they're free! I'm still devasted I didn't!!). Also Fisherton Mill in Salisbury - food is also outstanding! Thank you so much Hazel and Andrew, we've had the most wonderful long weekend to recharge our batteries xx

The cottage was very lovely and cosy, we felt at home! It was very tidy and clean. The garden is also lovely and has a nice view on the fields and horse. Ann and Bob are very friendly and interested in their guests, but respected our privacy as well. They also gave usefull information about things to do, where to park etc. We would recommend this cottage! The low ceilings might be a bit of a challenge to taller people, nevertheless they also contribute to it's charm. We had a lovely week!

2 Badgers Rest is worth its rating. Tina our host was helpful, let us know she was available but not at all intrusive. The cottage is clean and warm with good quality furnishings and super comfy bed. 5 Star throughout and we will look forward to another visit.

Fischer’s cottage is a wonderfully tranquil getaway in a beautiful part of Kent. The cottage was very comfortable, with everything we needed in the kitchen and a magnificent wood burning stove in the living room to keep us cosy on a slightly chilly Summer evening. The garden was a delight and allowed our two-year old daughter a great space to play. We even made use of the BBQ and outdoor wood-burning stove. D was so helpful with directions, recommendations of where to visit and which pubs and restaurants to eat at. We would certainly come back again.

I stayed at Andrew's place for a week with my husband and 3 year old son and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The open kitchen/lounge area works well with young children. The wood burner had a sturdy safety gate and all plug sockets had protective covers. It's well placed for visiting the local area. Plenty of national trust properties nearby and we drove the Heart of Kent route one day. Port Lympe zoo is also brilliant. Unfortunately, our son became ill during our stay so we had to cut our stay short by a couple of days. Despite that, my son hasn't stopped talking about our stay at Long Stable and will be booking a return stay in the near future. Marie, Oli and Alfie.

Stayed here for the weekend of our Wedding which was local. Absolutely wonderful location, lovely cottage, with a perfect Cotswold country feel. Really clean and well supplied amenities. Quite tricky to find but owners were so lovely and extremely helpful with communication and directions. Couldn’t fault our experience!

My stay at the cottage has been excellent! Rachel is an extremely responsive and kind host and ensured I had everything I needed for my stay, even bringing complimentary groceries on the first day just to ensure I was fully set up with everything I might need. She’s gone above and beyond and I would have no hesitation in staying here again. The place is very peaceful and secure, so very relaxing. Thank you Rachel for a wonderful stay, I’ll definitely be back in future!
