Great place to stay in Marfa, just as advertised it's a quick walk into town. lovely little house well equipped with everything you need! And very very clean, which is no small achievement considering how dusty the desert is!

Casa Hermosa is a single structure with two separate, cozy and comfortable suites - The two-bedroom Starlight Suite and the single living, kitchen, and bedroom King Suite. Each suite has a full bathroom and patio. It's cozy, comfortable, private, quiet and just a few blocks from downtown Fort Davis including the Courthouse and Blue Mountain Bar & Grill. We stayed in the Starlight Suite and enjoyed the view of the Davis Mountains with its intricate rock formations. Very dark at night for excellent stargazing. Gorgeous desert sunrise & sunsets. Nice thoughtful touch providing a multi-port charger in the living room for your devices. Matthew was friendly, response, and helpful providing us with flexible options on checkout. Will definitely visit again, and recommend to friends.

The house has a ton of charm and was perfect for our family of 5. Loved the projector screen downstairs - fun for something different. The lights took some guess work, but part of the charm!

Have been wanting to make the trip to Marfa for over a decade, and finally did it. The Level 2 EV charger on site was a real plus for me, and before we arrived Kathryn was able to confirm that the charger was working, which really put me at ease. Everything was exactly like the pictures and having great local dining like the Water Stop and Bordo close by was a HUGE plus!

Loved staying here! Gorgeous home that is quintessential Marfa. We enjoyed laying on the very comfy couch listening to Marfa Radio in the evenings and loved how close we were to everything - very walkable. Beds were comfy, big bathroom, well stocked kitchen. We felt very at home here and look forward to visiting again!

Great for a short visit with our two kids. About a 15 minute walk to most activities in town. Very quiet, clean, and comfortable!

Very cute place right smack in the middle of town. Check in was easy. Parking was available right out front. Location was awesome because the cops were pulling people over every 5min so it was nice to walk to restaurants and bars with peace of mind. The beds were cozy. Water was hot and pressure was good. They ask that you clean any used dishes, take the trash out and pile up the dirty linens during check out. Pretty standard for most air bnbs but I don’t understand why I pay a cleaning fee.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and first time with a child (6 y/o) who enjoyed the outdoor space and cowboy pool. Great location within walking distance of downtown and all that Marfa has to offer. The host was inviting and communicative and we would definitely stay here again.

We rented the entire property and every square inch is well thought out and beautifully designed. Each apartment feels separate, but there was plenty of space to gather in the larger unit with the pool. The location is central and walkable to all areas of Marfa. A starchitect designed this and it shows.

I have stayed here multiple times - love it. It’s perfect for my pups and I. 5 o’clock we always go to Alpine and Martha, but the observatory is the reason we’re in far west Texas. Location, location, location. Having a spotless beautiful home is just the icing on the cake! Thank you.

This campsite is AMAZING! Not only are you INSIDE the State park (you enter on same road as state park but technically private land) but because it’s private there’s a locked gate and only three spots so it feels remote but safe. All three spots are spread out and lots of space to roam and explore. There are amenities available like super clean porta-potty, wood lockers to purchase more if you need, Water tanks at each site that collects clean fresh water, clear directions, close proximity and convenience to state park, fire rings, covered picnic tables, shower area, WiFi reception with Verizon which was nice to come home to, lovely & hospital host, Lauren and incredible views. This is seriously one of my favorite camping spots. If you’re headed to the Big Bend Ranch State Park you should seriously consider this option. What a memorable time! Thank you!

Two families came together and used this space for our home base while exploring Marfa. House was very clean. Beds were very comfortable with plush bedding.

Fort Davis is very convenient to a lot of Texas gems like the McDonald Observatory, Fort Davis, Davis Mountains. Great hiking and nature in a dark sky preserve. Not bad food in town either!

We loved our stay at Earth House Marfa! Our trip was delayed by a day and the folks at Trans Pecos Realty were quick to respond to my messages and really easy going. The house was beautiful and as described on the site. Amazing decor and it felt so peaceful. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to cook food and make coffee. Our kids loved sitting at the bar to eat breakfast! The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels, toilet paper, and soap. The bedrooms were peaceful and comfortable and the living room was relaxing to hang out in... wonderful record selection! The location was perfect with proximity to restaurants and the library, perfect for riding bikes around town! Its the little things that matter when you are traveling with children... things like good sponges and soap to wash dishes, soft towels and a clean tub for bathing, good coffee for the parents, feeling safe... Earth House Marfa met every one of them. Its a perfect desert get-away spot!

Sleeping Lion Casita was the perfect, peaceful home base for our weekend getaway. The casita is tiny little extended studio, but the space is used wisely and the lovely design touches make it feel calming and cozy rather than cramped. The rooftop patio was perfect for stargazing. The casita is walkable to Fort Davis's main street, but this is a sleepy small town so don't expect much by way of dining options. The only thing that would have made our trip better would have been an open coffee shop nearby slinging iced lattes. But, I suppose that isn't what you travel to west Texas for, is it?
