Playa Mermejita : locations de vacances

We really enjoyed our stay at La Morada. The room was comfortable, the on site staff were super helpful, the pool was nice and the view from the private balcony was spectacular. The location is a bit out of town towards Zipolite from San Augustinillo. To get to town you can either walk down the beach (15-20 minutes) or take the pickup truck bus service from the highway. It is a steep walk (many stairs) to the beach. However it is our favourite of the six beach Airbnbs in which we have stayed.

El alojamiento y la propiedad son muy bonitas, limpias, ordenadas y seguras. Me encantó que el lugar fuera silencioso y que los otros huéspedes respetaran las horas de silencio. Lo único que si me costó trabajo fueron las escaleras que son muchas para llegar a Zipolite y sobre todo de noche ya después de haber pasado todo el día en la playa son cansadas. Pero si recomiendo el lugar si lo que buscas es descanso y desconectarte. Si volvería.

Our family of four had an absolutely delightful stay at Marilu’s home. The space is welcoming and filled with vibrant and unique decor. Relaxation options abound in both indoor and outdoor sitting areas, including balconies for each bedroom and a huge main patio adjacent to the kitchen. Marilu’s has incorporated thoughtful amenities to make the space feel like home, and the views can’t be beat. We were within close driving distance to excellent snorkeling (5 minutes away at Estacahuite Beach) and great restaurants. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience.

Beautiful views make this apartment a delight. The pool also has stunning views. The apartment is decorated very tastefully. There are lots of towels for beach and bath. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware. Beds are comfortable. Javier, the condo manager is helpful. Wade was polite & responsive with regards to our questions. The apartment is tranquil & very safe. I would stay here again. Still, I stay in the area often for work & the price was on high side given maintenance is needed. The 2nd shower had drain issues, & its bathroom sink leaked. The dishwasher was broken. The AC in the living room didn't work for 5 days. This was challenging for my spouse who had online meetings as it was very hot (35+), especially wearing a formal shirt & the bedrooms didn't have deskspace to work in instead. Wade & Javier made big efforts to get the AC fixed & I appreciate them. Wonderful property, just needs a little work and care. Wade is a super nice guy and the location is beautiful.

Alfonso and Fran were great hosts who communicated well and helped us with lots of information from their base in the UK. Their friends/managers Nahum and Chevala were lovely and helpful. The location, across from the beach, was perfect for going for an early morning snorkel before boats arrived with people to fill the small bays. We were glad to have a kitchen as the beach restaurants closed by dinner time and there’s nothing open nearby. Having a car would be helpful but we managed with taxis to visit Puerto Angel, Zipolite, Potchutla and Mazunte. There is no A/C so you need to make the fans work for you at night. Also, despite no nearby cars or partiers, be prepared for noise of the local wildlife: dogs, cats, birds and roosters! We enjoyed our relaxing stay. Thank you.

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. From the well-equipped amenities to the thoughtful touches, it truly felt like a home away from home. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. We chose to cook ourselves rather than eat out. Our place had a full kitchen so we stocked up on food. We did try a couple of restaurants to support local but they were just ok. The location was absolutely perfect—better than we even expected! The view was better than the pics posted too. IF you rent a car, just know that the location is bumpy and steep. If not, you can rent a taxi. Our only problem was the cost for the taxi was twice as much when they called someone for you and different every time. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend staying here. Can’t wait to come back!

Zapotengo es una localidad increíble, su gente es amena y atenta, los paisajes hermosos, tranquilo. La comida es deliciosa. Las cabañas Zapotenguito son súper cómodas y tiene todo para disfrutar los días. Regresaremos.

Un espacio ideal para gozar plenamente San Agustinillo. Excelente la dimensión del apartamento , diseño de primera, espacios de muy buen tamaño y con ubicación ideal . Techos altos , acabados de muy buen gusto y manufactura . Lo gozamos plenamente . Gracias Eenst por estar atento a cualquier necesidad . Volveremos sin duda !
