We’d pick again. Great starting point for the Big Bend country. Marathon developing more and more. What used to be a ghost of a town, it’s starting to wake up. Good place and good host. No complaints.

Jim’s place is on the edge of town so the view from the back porch and the sitting area is fantastic the big quiet of West Texas. We appreciated that you had to set up for smokers outside. The place is quiet, which is very important for us and the accoutrements indoors are modern and appealing. We love the shower and the water and the bedroom was sweet. The next time we go through marathon we may stay there again. We were on a camping trip near Terlingua so it was nice to have all the comforts of homebefore living in the desert. Thank you!

The house is so comfortable, clean and matched the description. Beds were comfy and everything we needed was there. Tina is super sweet person and made is feel at home. We would def visit again! The home was perfect for the five us. Two adults and three sons. Loved the patio and chairs in the yard. Easy to walk to grocer and Gage hotel too.

We had a great time at Linda’s place with our two kids. Her house is a lovely little museum where you feel cosy and at home. Very nice backyard where you can enjoy the sun and the peaceful neighborhood.

The hosts were so welcoming and proactive in getting things ready for my check-in and stay. This is a fantastic and unique place, full of charm - I really enjoyed my time here! It's in a wonderful location, and convenient if you're on your way to Big Bend National Park.

Great place to have a chance to stay close to Big Bend without paying to stay inside the park. Loved the little town and enjoyed the brewery/bbq restaurant as well. Highly recommend.

Nice use of space.Appreciated that mini fridge had a freezer portion on the top. The train was not an issue. Only came by at 8am. Not as loud or as frequent as others said.

The Stardust Corral is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to enjoy the incredible beauty of the Big Bend area. This home is very spacious and clean, we especially enjoyed the outdoor areas. We didn’t miss not having WiFi or a TV and spent time listening to Willie Nelson, Pasty Kline and Johnny Cash on the record player. We have stayed at several places in Marathon, and this is one of our favorites! We highly recommend it.

Great location, great views. Amazing stargazing. AC worked well. Would stay again for the courtyard area, very photogenic.
