We spent a couple stormy winter days and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beach. We played games and watched the stormy waves. The beach access is unbeatable. We hope to return for a longer stay during the summer. The bonus of coming in winter was the feeling of privacy with hardly any people to be seen on the beach. The cleanliness of the entire home and well appointed kitchen made us feel right at home.

Simply wonderful home literally in the middle of the sand dunes on the beach. Fantastic beach home and super communications with the owners. Don’t miss the halibut fish and chips at Luna in Yachats or Seal Rock, plus outstanding restaurants in Newport and amazing beach hikes at Thor’s Well and Seal Rock. Simply a fabulous week!

Great home, just like listing. Location on beach was beautiful and peaceful. Relaxing to sit in hot tub and watch waves or sunset. Very quiet in winter which we expected. Most stores and restaurants have winter hours and many not open during the week in winter so plan to drive to the larger towns. Tunnel beach and cape falcon offered great scenery.

This is a great place for a getaway. Among my favorite features are the expansive views of the coast from the first floor living room, the game room, the kitchen, and the theater room. It’s cozy. Brigid was incredibly responsive to our questions and requests. We’ll be back.

The view was awesome. The place was spotless. Karen was quick to answer questions. Everything was supplied that you could possibly need. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Tialen’s place was great! The kitchen was truly stocked with everything you’d need to cook your own meals. The home was very comfortable, our favorite feature were the wall of windows facing the ocean! We stayed over Christmas and loved watching the storm roll in. Stepping out onto the beach from the back door was also awesome. Our kids loved being able to run outside and throw the football around during breaks in the weather. When being outside wasn’t an option we had plenty to entertain us inside. Between the pool and ping pong table we always had a game going. The Xbox and tvs made sure everyone had a place to relax and do what they liked. When we had questions their response time was great, so fast. Our first morning there we were trying to cook breakfast and had some questions. They didn’t miss a beat, everything was answered and our whole exchange was taken care of within 5 min. We’ll definitely be back!

We spent the weekend at Rockaway to celebrate my husbands birthday and I was off on the dates. Max was great helping me get another rental that was available for the dates so we didn’t have to cancel our original plans. The house was super clean and perfectly decorated. Very comfortable sleeping.

We stayed in the three bedrooms upstairs unit of a duplex. The view from the deck was magnificent. The beds were comfortable and we had a blast playing ping pong. The kitchen is huge. It could use a couple of bowls but otherwise well appointed. The living room furniture is ok but I wish was a bit more plentiful. Walking straight from the stairs off the deck the beach is less than 100 steps away and amazing. The bathrooms were well stocked with an eye to hospitality. I would recommend to friends and would consider staying here again.

This was a lovely place to unwind, relax and take in the gorgeous views of the ocean. Very walkable to coffee and shopping areas. Right next to Boiler Point where you can watch the waves roll into the bay. Bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms clean with walk in shower and tub- take your choice. Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals and have morning coffee while enjoying the view of the coast.

Matthew’s house exceeded our expectations. This house has been my favorite house I have stayed in on the coast, and I cannot wait to tell others and hopefully return in the future! The place is well taken care of, very clean, quiet, and perfect for both exploring and relaxing. It is obvious that Matthew takes pride in his residence and ensures his guests are taken care of and have all the necessary supplies for the stay. I highly recommend staying at this house!!

We have stayed here twice now and it is our favorite coastal get away. Will return again. ❤️

Dan’s place was absolutely amazing for my weekend with my niece. We loved admiring all the little knickknacks the family has acquired over the years, we felt right at home. The place has a lovely view of the ocean as well.

We had a great time at Tim’s place! It’s a quick walk to the beach and in a beautifully charming neighborhood. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and I can be pretty picky about this when traveling. Tim could not have been a better host! His communications are timely, clear, helpful and kind. And then there’s the hot tub! What a treat!

It was a pleasure to stay here!

Everything was just as it should be clean plenty of room for my whole family that made the trip easy access to everything we wanted to do

I really liked the house, it is cozy, clean, bright. It is located in a good and quiet place. There are also toys for children, which we really liked.

Great location, beautiful home and easy walking to our favorite restaurants. Loved the fully fenced in backyard for the pups. Would stay there again for sure!

Our group had a great stay at Brett's place! The location is right on the beach with amazing views, and Brett was a great communicator and very responsive throughout our stay. When a winter storm blew the power out, Brett was very helpful and fast in addressing our questions and needs. This is a great home for a large group, and it was a nice perk that almost everyone had their own bathroom! Kitchen is beautiful and everything is exactly as described in the listing and photos. Thank you, Brett -- we look forward to staying again!

What a great beach house! 4 bedroom, 2 story house allowed for the kids to play and the adults to socialize and relax. with With direct access to the beach anyone could go out whenever they felt like it. and the hot tub and pool table was SO wonderful. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 5 loves to be on the beach and to search for agates. Tim's place was the perfect destination....no need to drive anywhere. We agated when the tide was right, and when it was too high, we enjoyed the surf from the hot tub and played games with a beautiful view of the ocean. The accommodations we comfortable and the fireplace added ambiance to our entire stay. I've already recommended the Surf House to my brother (also an avid agate seeker) and will book it again for our family for our next trip. Thanks Tim!

We had a great time at Vanessa’s house. The location is very walkable- only a block to the beach, a few minutes to Sea Level Bakery, and a few minutes more to the Fresh Foods grocery store. You have an unobstructed view of the ocean from the living room and front porch. The house is well appointed and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace. Would definitely book again.
