We had a lovely time--the location was great and the stay was exactly as advertised. A comfortable home to come back to after a day of adventures on the island!

Had a great stay at this home. Like everyone said, the shower is very large with two shower heads. The bedrooms are a little snug but the bed we slept it was pretty comfy. The only negative was the heat was off when we arrived, it was 52 degrees in the cabin.

We fell in love with Guemes Island! We could not be more grateful to stay in such a wonderful and peaceful spot. We hope to visit The Woodpecker many more times over the years! Our 18 month old son had the time of his life playing on the beaches and coming home to such an inviting atmosphere. 1000 out of 10. Would recommend to any and all !

Beautiful setting, very comfortable modern cabin with heated floors and a wonderful covered hot tub. There was some freeway noise when outside but when the hot tub was on or when inside you couldn't really hear it.

Stayed for a weekend, Great cabin in the forest! There is neighbours but nothing to worry about with lots of tree cover around. super peaceful and quiet. The cabin was in great shape and clean. The hottub on the deck is a great addition.

This little cabin was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend trip to Lopez in January. The place was very easy to find with Ingrid's directions, the inside was clean and everything was easy to find. The bed was comfy and the hot tub was glorious. Ingrid was responsive and provided great recommendations for local restaurants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Everything was even better than expected. The cabin is adorable and we felt immediately at home. The view and access to beach is perfection. We were so comfortable. We will definitely be returning for another stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the driftwood for the second time! Excellent location and super cozy cabin, could not recommend it more.

We had a wonderful couple of days in the beautiful cabin in the woods with a gorgeous view of the bay. The hot tub was warm and waiting for us. Ashley and Brittany were very communicative and checked in with us often. We cooked in the kitchen and found everything we needed. Thank you!

Our stay at Scott’s place for our 1 year anniversary was absolutely perfect. We are so happy we chose to stay outside of downtown Friday Harbor & got to enjoy the island for 3 nights. We will be back to stay here again in the future. Amazingly cozy bed, perfect deck to enjoy morning coffee, sooooo peaceful (soul healing) and we felt so welcome at Scott’s cabin. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for light bites & snacks between meals (for us) with an adorable retro refrigerator. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking to enjoy downtown Friday Harbor + all of the surrounding spots on the island ( Roche Harbor, Westcott Bay Shellfish Farm, Cattle point Road/lighthouse, English Camp, etc). Each stop felt like a very easy drive, and we saw so much unexpected beauty. Thank you very much to Scott and his wife for the PERFECT stay.

Had a very peaceful stay at this place with amazing Mt. Baker in backdrop and also got to see the full moon in full glory against the sea water. One could enjoy the sunrise on a clear day which we did and to watch sunset it is a few mins drive and we enjoyed that as well. Overall a clean and cozy place to spend some quiet and peaceful time by the bay.

This place was even better in person. This was one our family’s favorite places we have stayed. The place is cozy and clean. The kids loved the loft where they slept. There are a lot of great hikes very close by. The property is in a great location. All the places we wanted to go were within a quick drive. I would highly recommend this place. We loved that we were able to bring our dog too.

We had the best time at your cabin! The energy/vibes were on point. We loved the use of the kayaks and paddle board (though it was chilly water in April!). It’s a private place that is set up perfectly in decor but also in extra (potentially helpful) information. We’d definitely stay again!

It was an absolute joy to stay at Kalani's place! The house itself was incredibly well stocked with spices in the kitchen, bath products if needed, and even binoculars to use! It was sparkling clean, easy to find, and Kalani was super helpful & communicative! The bed was extremely comfortable and you cant beat the gorgeous views out the living room and bedroom window!! We traveled around Anacortes & visited the San Juan islands and thought the location was perfect - easy to get to town/ the ferry port, but remote enough to feel truly relaxed and enjoy the beautiful setting! You cant go wrong booking this GEM!!!

Amazing stay at the Huckleberry Cabin over the Holidays! Darcy was super responsive from the very beginning and even gave me heads up about the ferry schedule regularly. Cabin itself was so beautiful, clean, very peaceful with spectacular views. If you need a getaway to rest and recharge, Huckleberry cabin is the place to be!!!

The resort was really pretty, hosts were very responsive and really nice, the beds are very comfy, the kitchen well equiped. I really liked the camp fire and that there was a sauna. The place to get food is a bit far so bringing something to cook is a good idea. A very nice place to stay

My husband and I and our dogs had a lovely stay on Guemes Island! The cabin was just what we needed: peace and quiet and a great setting for napping and book reading. If you bring dogs, be sure to visit nearby Dog Woods aka Dog Heaven.

Such a relaxing place to stay! Incredible views, comfy bed and sofa, and we loved the record and VHS collection. Would recommend the nearby Oaks Bluff viewpoint (we easily walked from the house) and the couples massage at Woods. The only thing we found tricky to use was the oven / cooker. It’s as the photos show - very charming and you just have to be patient!

Loved staying at Rupa's for my son's 18th birthday snowboarding trip. Very clean and comfortable. Felt right at home with beautiful scenery out the sliding glass door. We love staying in the Sudden Valley area because of how beautiful the place is. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Sudden Valley.

It felt refreshing to stay in a real home, filled with warmth and love. We had a oarty of 6 for a Writer's Retreat and it was perfect. Would also be lovely for family get togethers or to stay with close friends. Gale is very responsive as well as warm and friendly. It felt so gracious of her to entrust us with her clearly beloved home.

First time to Lummi Islaand and it was amazing! Great time in a great private spot. The driveway was easily tackled by my Jeep Wrangler, but something to consider if you're not sure your vehicle can make the climb. (The driveway is steep not rough.) Hate we didnt take advantage of the hot tub, but it was so chilly and rainy. Thank you for the snacks and local brew! It was nice to come in, admire the view and have a cold beverage!
