After travelling around Sri Lanka for 2 months we wanted somewhere peaceful where we could relax and this was the perfect place. This is by far the quietest place we have stayed and the entire view from our terrace was greenery. The room was very clean and the entire building and grounds were very well looked after. The kitchen was handy as there is only really one restaurant within walking distance. If you don't cook your own meals there were options on Uber eats for delivery and plenty of other places just a short tuk tuk or bus ride away. The staff were very friendly and we got to see monitor lizards, monkeys, plenty of birds, a frog and a small snake in the garden area. If you want somewhere quiet with nature on your doorstep but still with western style accommodation this place is ideal.

We have stayed in around 180 Airbnbs and this is stand out one of the best! THE most fully equipped property we have ever come across, with all sorts of unexpected items such as mosquito repellent coils, filtered water, cooking oils and first aid kit! Eva and her manager, Tharush were amazingly friendly and accommodating. 5 star service and facilties to match! Can't recommend this place enough.

넓고 깨끗하고 쾌적한 숙소였습니다. 해변과도 가까운 거리에 있었고 툭툭이 타기도 편했어요. 테라스도 있어서 야외 풍경 보면서 음식 먹기에도 좋은 집이었습니다. 다음에 갈레에 오면 또 머물고 싶네요. 추천드립니다!

Der Aufenthalt bei Nalaka und seiner Familie war der beste meines Lebens! Wir verbrachten 30 Tage dort und genossen jede Sekunde. Nalaka und seine Frau Navisha sind unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam, gaben uns das Gefühl, zur Familie zu gehören, aber auch genug Raum für Ruhe. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Dschungel, umgeben von sattem Grün, aber dennoch nah am Zentrum von Ahangama. Die Wohnung ist viel größer als auf den Bildern, makellos sauber und fühlt sich wie ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel an. Besonders der Außenbereich und die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf spielende Affen waren Highlights. Nalaka ist zudem ein exzellenter Koch – besonders empfehlenswert sind die Deviled Kalamari und die Villa Kingford Soup. Für uns ist er mehr als ein Gastgeber, er ist ein wahrer Freund geworden. Wir kommen garantiert wieder! Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Nalaka, Navisha, Satheesha und Namadhi – eure Gastfreundschaft war unvergesslich!

Our stay at Pramod's place with my family was fantastic! He is truly an incredible host, always attentive to our needs and ready to help with anything we required. His kindness and generosity exceeded all expectations, from assisting with our late check-in due to a delayed flight to helping us organize various trips around the area. The apartment is fantastic, always clean and located in a convenient area for any interest. I highly recommend staying with him so an unique experience !

Amila und Hannah sind herzliche und freundliche Gastgeber, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig (Zimmer, inkl. Badezimmer, Küche & Terrasse) und hat eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage. Die Geräuschkulisse (Vogelgezwitscher und sonstige Tiergeräusche) der Umgebung ist bezaubernd und man kann die Natur von der Terrasse aus geniessen. Die Distanz zum Strand/Meer war mit den immer verfügbaren Tuktuks kein Problem für uns :) Wir würden defintiv wiederkommen und können das Airbnb allen empfehlen, welche gerne ruhig und inmitten der Natur verweilen möchten.

The house is super cozy and lacks no detail. The environment is perfect, quiet and we loved everything. Thuruni was very friendly and helped us with everything, to rent a motorbike, take a tuktuk, he recommended things in the area…The cleanliness was impeccable and everything was perfect. My only downside is that it is a bit hot inside the house😬the fan is not enough for hot days. But the bottom line is that the house is great and all the outdoor space is bigger than you would expect.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb hosted by Ruwan, and it was a delightful experience. Ruwan was an extremely warm and welcoming host, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to both the beach and Coconut Tree Hill. The lush green property felt almost like staying in a forest, offering a serene environment. The breakfast provided was very good, with a variety of delicious options. The room was a bit small, but it didn't affect our comfort during the stay. Additionally, Ruwan offers to help plan activities in and around Mirissa, which could add a lot of value to your trip. Despite the minor detail about the room size, the stay had its positive aspects, particularly Ruwan's hospitality, the excellent breakfast, and the beautiful surroundings. This Airbnb is a great choice for travelers looking for a welcoming host and a beautiful location.

really nice house, and really nice host, wasn’t quite where the pin location was, but they let us use the scooter so was easy enough to get around, also quite nice to be a little set back from the main hustle of weligama

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in Kumbalgama und haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Kalsara und seine Eltern waren jederzeit erreichbar und halfen gerne mit Tipps. Sie haben sogar einmal für uns gekocht, sodass wir uns sehr heimische gefühlt haben. Lediglich der Lärm von der Straße ist ein kleiner Wermutstopfen, wofür jedoch der Gastgeber nichts kann.

We had a fantastic stay at Amani’s place in Weligama! From the start, she was incredibly friendly, quick to respond, and always helpful. The house looked exactly like the photos, and we felt right at home. It had two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, plus a charming little kitchen and sitting area—all beautifully decorated with a lovely aesthetic touch. The house was perfect for us and our two kids, providing a comfortable and cozy stay. Amani also stays in the same house, making her just a call away whenever we needed anything. Her warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Weligama!

Lahiru and Piyushani are such lovely and warm people and their place is such a peaceful tropical oasis. Everything you could wish for is around this area, incredible beaches, food, temples and green tropics. They very kindly upgraded us to their villas which were just divine. Clean and airy with lovely spaces to sit and read all day…as we chose to do on multiple days. It has an amazing bed to sleep in and is very private and spacious. We ended up staying two weeks just because it felt like the perfect space to stop. They were caring in checking in and making sure everything was ok. Would stay here again and again and again. Paradise 🌴

Janaka's place is centrally located within walking distance of Galle Fort, bus stand and the railway station. There are a few eateries, shops and department stores nearby. The host was very prompt in responding to our messages. The place has all the listed amenities. He allowed us to keep our luggage after checkout and even gave us access to the toilet in the adjacent apartment. Only problem is that the water pressure in the bathroom sink tap is very low, and there is a factory nearby which was making a lot of noise at 5 am. Overall, it's a good place for a short stay in Galle.

We were really happy to stay here - felt like a home in another country. Appreciated the own outdoor kitchen & laundry machine. The area was quiet, peacefull & mostly local. It is easy to move around - also to local markets & supermarket & fishmarket. The Host are very polite and they have their own small shop where you can buy for example all the drinking water & eggs. The apartment itself is spacious. It was also easy to organize a bike from nearby & store it at the yard. You can easily live here in the rhytm of the nature and hear also the nearby temple/monestry monks singing every morning & evening. It was convienent to get to all the nearby activities like yoga, restaurants etc with a bike in a couple of minutes. In over all it was a peacefull home not too far from anything and we were especially happy not to have loud overnight parties or traffic noises at night around. Blissfull, great value for the money & highly recommended!🫶🏻

We are a travelling family and the villa was just perfect for us. We also work online so we needed a quick internet - and it worked very well. Sanjaya and his family are warm beautiful people and they always helped us with anything we asked for. We also enjoyed the garden that is full of birds. Very recommended accomodation! A perfect stay with a lovely family as hosts. Right from the booking to the day of check-in and beyond, Chanuka was very proactive in checking on us, recommending modes of travel, nearby restaurants, and everything! We had a warm welcome by Chanuka's father with a refreshing welcome drink who showed us around the place and offered assistance anytime. Just as a family member would, he advised us to be careful while stepping out at night, offered to cook food, made us feel very welcome and right at home. Meeting and interacting with Chanuka and his lovely family was truly a pleasure. Mango House 1 is just perfect in every aspect with every facility available for a comfortable stay, and is maintained very well with great personal attention. We were even offered an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast and it was super delicious and healthy. I gladly 100% recommend Chanuka's Mango House 1 as the best place to stay in Galle for a loving memory to cherish always!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ranjits little apartment. Very charming, and both he and his wife were wonderfully attentive hosts and gave us lots of local advice. The apartment was full of light and had all the amenities we needed. Its in a great position in Fort Galle, but also quiet at night. The only problem we had was that the wifi was a bit sporadic……but other than that I would definitely recommend staying there to future airbnb guests. Thankyou for our stay.

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

It was a great pleasure to stay with Nihal and his wife. Now I know why he is considered a super host. Extremely friendly and helpful and very comfortable.

Very worth for the price! Easy to walk to nearby beaches and cafes. Definitely hard to sleep in at all since the road gets quite loud with busses honking. The house is next to the forest/jungle so there are many small bugs like ants in the bathroom and sometimes the bedroom but it’s not so bad, just something to be aware of. The power went out a few times during our stay but apparently that’s pretty normal for this region especially if it is raining. Overall would still recommend for good location and price. Padma was able to do our laundry as well for a small fee
