If I could give more stars I would. May and her lovely family made us feel very welcome. Her cute cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, everything that is advertised is as is. We would definitely book again with May if we are back in Sydney. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A lovely stay in this gem on a home, the patio and pool makes any sunny day worth soaking all up. Great for families or couples looking for a home in a great location with both shops and beaches within driving and some walking distance. I would come back!

Great location! Easy check in, good communication. Lovely spacious house. Pool is gorgeous for a nice summer day. And it’s a bonus that it’s pet friendly. Neighbours are really friendly too!

We had such a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Everything we needed was there, and the host was super friendly and helpful. We felt right at home and really enjoyed our time here. Would absolutely love to stay again—highly recommended!

Very helpful & accommodating. Thank you Hilde for the little things you did for us to accommodate our family holiday. A travel cot, change table and high chair for our 11 month old saved car space for our two little dogs to bring along. Very peaceful in a great location with loads in walking distance. Highly recommended.

My parents, daughter and I really enjoyed staying at Bruce and Karen’s place. They provided everything you needed just feel like at home. It’s a well built two bedroom pool house surrounded by greens that let you feel like you’re having a vacation. The location is walkable to local businesses, banks,?public transport (Chatswood train, Metro and bus stations) and international restaurants. Plus, friendly hosts!

We really enjoyed staying at Geoff‘s place which was just as described, in a great location, very clean and with both restaurants and the beach just around the corner. Geoff was very responsive and helpful both before and after the stay.

Great value and excellent communication! We had one issue with the kitchen and the host made every effort to resolve and even find us a replacement cook top for our stay! Without a doubt a stellar place for a big group!

Location was perfect for Bondi, close enough to good bars and restaurants, but far enough away from the crowds, but not too far to walk to the beach easily. Huge place with all amenities thought of, perfect if you need the extra room.

My family enjoyed our stay in Randwick very much. Yj's place is on a quiet residential street, a short (uphill) walk to the commercial center of town with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, and transit. Convenient to the beach and easy to get in to Sydney CBD. It's a very pretty area. It was nice to have a dehumidifier on each floor. Be sure to empty the tanks before going to sleep so you aren't woken up by beeping. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The kitchen was fine for cooking, just check for the equipment/tools you need before going shopping (e.g. there was no colander or strainer). We used the dishwasher, washer, and dryer and they all worked well. The dryer vents into the room so you must run the dehumidifier and fan, and that works fine. There was a musty smell when we ran the AC. Yj was very responsive when we had questions.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage..it was well appointed and convenient. Lovely location and perfect walking distance to both train and Metro. The appliances and amenities were top notch…ducted air con in the upstairs bedrooms was heaven. While the internal staircase is very authentic it is slightly treacherous for the ill informed! Chantal was a star… very helpful and receptive at every turn. For our 4 adult family it was a perfect month stay.

Liebe Tracey, es war ein Traum in Deiner Unterkunft übernachten zu dürfen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Einweisung in die Wohnung war sehr hilfreich und auch die schnelle Hilfe bei zusätzlichen Wünschen bzw. das Angebot uns hilfreich zur Seite zu stehen. Und gleichzeitig hatten wir unsere Privatsphäre - so konnten z.B. wir unbehelligt auf der kleinen Terrasse frühstücken. Vielen Dank auch für die gute Ausstattung der Wohnung: Vom Kaffee über kalt gestelltes Wasser bis zum Duschshampoo war alles da. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben aber leider war die Unterkunft schon anderweitig vergeben.

Our family had such a lovely stay! You really couldn’t ask for a better location. 5 minute walk to the beach and the home is right amongst some of the best shopping and eating Bondi has to offer. Perfect spot for our little family beach vacation! I hope to come back.

Our family visited Sydney annually for 28 years. This was by far the best property we've ever stayed at. Sadly, we were here this time for my husband's memorial service and I needed a place that was large enough to accommodate my children, their partners, and another friend. Finding a property in Sydney that is large, private, walkable to trains and the beach--is pretty much impossible. So surprised to find this beautiful renovated Victorian home located a short walk to both Bondi Junction and also Bronte beach. It had everything: views, space, luxury, even a totally clean and clutter free garage. All my local friends and family were astounded when the came to say hello (and many are referring other guests to Tracey McArdle as a result). If you need more than a beach cottage, this is the place. Incredible value for the money (everything is expensive in Sydney but this enormous place was not that much more than the tiny Coogee two b/r we rented last year). We will be back.

Super easy to deal with, place felt safe and easy to find, host was very responsive but left us to have our own space, great stay overall!

Beautiful place, love it

We stayed in the house for two nights, and our experience exceeded our expectations. The house is incredibly spacious, offering plenty of rooms and gathering spaces, making it perfect for a large family or a group of friends. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with everything you might need for cooking or entertaining. The bedrooms are spacious, with wardrobes and cupboards, so you don’t have to live out of a suitcase like in other short-term rentals. The beds are extremely comfortable, for a restful and relaxing stay. The bathrooms are modern, beautifully designed, and, like the rest of the house, very spacious. The house itself is equipped with the latest appliances, adding to its modern feel. The backyard is huge, and the pool was a definite highlight for the kids. The only minor issue was that the bathroom doors couldn’t be locked. Communication with the agent was fast, informative, and helpful. We would definitely return and highly recommend this house to others!

Mery's place was terrific for us, visiting family locally. Her place was as described, perfectly clean and Mery and her family were very welcoming. We appreciated the sweet treat and household items provided. The location is very quiet and safe and easily accessible to Sydney's rail network and the shops of Mortdale, which have all you need.

Andrew was a wonderful host who went out of his way to be helpful. He bought a high chair for the baby, offered us a lift to the beach and the airport and let us have an early check in. Communication was excellent. Bamboo house is lovely with a beautiful garden. The location is very convenient for public transport, it is an 8 minute walk to the train. We had lunch at a great bakery Bake Away near the train station. There is a steep driveway to access the house. I highly recommend Bamboo House and Andrew as an outstanding host.

Emil was great host. Responsive to querries. Lovely place to stay. Easy to get around to local shops. Felt at home. Will surely book same place again and recommend friends. Emil was very helpful after checkout as well. Although we don't know each other, it felt like Emil was a friend for along time.

Had a fabulous stay & highly recommend! Amelia was very responsive & made the whole check-in & check-out process as smooth as possible (even gave us early check-in and late check-out). She provided a detailed house guide that included key instructions, helpful tips, & amazing restaurant recs. The house itself was as described though I would say it’s definitely more dated than it appears. The location is perfect! Amelia provided above & beyond amenities/extras (OJ, milk, champagne, coffee, sunscreen, beach chairs, laundry & dish detergent, and so much more that I’ve never gotten before). The one thing I’d call out is the house is not air conditioned - it’s noted in the listing (albeit at the bottom), but I missed it & was surprised. That said, with all of the fans, we were able to cool the bedrooms down at night to sleep fine, though adding window AC units would go a long way in keeping it cooler during the day and better for sleeping during peak summer. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Phou's place was a great stay. Its a 130+ year old quirky, eclectically furnished terrace with original character and charm. Phou's place provided all the necessary upgrades / mod cons with dehumidifiers and air con units in all the bedrooms. Lots of beds if you have a large group. Shops a short stroll away as well as metro train station. Pub a few doors down around the corner open till 3am. Great position. They even had a house full of food for us to enjoy. Honestly the best stocked airbnb I have ever stayed in, and I stay in quite a lot! Amazing service. Thanks for the great stay. I thoroughly recommend it.
