Very nice and quiet place. You can get to the city center quickly by bus and there is a mall close with evrything you need. We had a lovely time here and the host was very nice!

Fabulous flat and neighbourhood. Lovely cute private garden. Nice furnishings. Great amenities. Very warm always and log fire made it super cosy. Everything clean and clutterless. Very communicative host who made it all easy. Highly recommend staying here if it’s within your budget. It’s possibly on the slightly expensive side for a 2-person accommodation but if you’re going to be mainly home-based for your stay it’s probably worth it house and garden wise.

Wij verbleven 4 dagen/3 nachten in de accommodatie van Francois en we hebben het fantastisch gehad! Het appartement is groot, schoon en heeft zelfs een tuin. Het ligt in het centrum van Edinburgh, maar in een rustige straat, waardoor je niets meekrijgt van drukte. Alles is beloopbaar; het kasteel, Grassmarket, Dean Village, Scott monument en een straat verder is een supermarkt te vinden. Ook zijn we een met een dagtour mee geweest naar de Hooglanden en het meer van Loch Ness; aanrader!

The space was clean, well-designed, and comfortable. The location was very central, conveniently close to shops like Tesco and Sainsbury and well connected to public transportation. Great host, quick response and friendly. Highly recommend!

Hazel’s place is a cosy homely spot in Portobello, close to all everything. It's a quick 40-minute bus ride to the heart of Edinburgh, which was super convenient. Hazel was always quick to reply and the place was peaceful, perfect for a good night's sleep.

Alison’s place is unique find. A clean and tidy apartment with everything you need to make your trip worthwhile. Definitely recommended when visiting Edinburgh.

Martin and Jane’s place is a true jewel 💎 Located in a fantastic neighborhood, in the city and yet very calm and quiet, with lots of cute authentic stores, pubs and restaurants. A breakfast place is conveniently located at the end of the street (2 minutes walk) right in front of a big supermarket. Bus stops in either direction bring you everywhere in 10 to 20 minutes. The house is very cozy and super clean. We particularly enjoyed the little garden on a sunny morning and the fireplace at night. Martin and Jane were very kind and helpful, explaining everything in details. Well’ surely come back and I totally recommend it! Thank you!

It really felt like home from home, with all facilities you could want. Lovely quiet cul de sac and a great location for walking into the city, exercising the dogs and plenty of interesting running routes.

We had a wonderful stay at Philip’s. The house was spotless and beds were very comfortable. Beautiful modern space.

Great stay! The hosts were super friendly and check-in was easy even time was 4am. They went above and beyond by recommending some amazing local stores and pubs, which made my trip even better. Highly recommend!

Cindy’s place was perfect! It was so cozy and just what I needed to wrap up my trip to Edinburgh. The home was spotless, very very clean and had everything I needed. Cindy added extra holiday touches which made the stay even better. It was easy to find, peaceful and truly a gem. Cindy is a wonderful host, she was so kind and gave me loads of awesome recommendations to get the most out of my visit. I would 100% book with Cindy again.

the house was lovely, perfect for our stay. the majority of us were attending a conference close by and the location allowed us to walk each day. nice area and really easy to get around from. great coffee close by on our walk in. everything you need is very close. the house itself was well kitted out, lots of great additions in the kitchen cupboards and bathrooms of the bits you normally forget when going to an air bnb it was great to be able to bring my dog, the garden was perfect for her and there was easy walking to a lovely park and lots of dog friendly places close by. It really felt like a home from home

Great place, within walking distance of grocery stores and coffee shops. (Try HATA coffee shop, amazing coffee and porridge). Julie’s place is cozy and has good amenities, (it has a Nespresso coffee maker but no coffee pods, so it was useless). The living room has to large couches but a bit dirty and worn cushions. Other than that, great place and you are within 10 minutes by uber ($20) from all major attractions in Edinburgh.

Was on exchange in London and decided to visit Edinburgh, was extremely lucky to stay at Usman’s accommodation. He was extremely welcoming and waited for our arrival on the first day and took the liberty of showing us around the house. The place was super cosy, clean and warm. A proper lovely place to stay that’s not far from the main tourist spots either. Cannot thank Usman enough for being so lovely and ensuring we have everything we need for the stay. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever back for a visit to Edinburgh. Would give 6 stars if I could!

I stayed in Pete’s place as a base for work while in Edinburgh. It was absolutely perfect in terms of location, space and facilities and was a perfect work from home spot. Best of all was Leo the cat who kept me company and showed me around!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time in Edinburgh and loved Tania's place! She was so responsive and the place was gorgeous. Great for a Valentine's Day weekend getaway. :)

We had such a lovely stay at Natalie and Craig’s place! Really cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Really comfy bed and living area. Everything was very well thought out with places to hang your clothes and your wet towels, 2 bedside tables and plugs near the bed (minor things but not always found in an airbnb!) Very comprehensive information booklet with clear instructions and good recommendations. The area is lovely and peaceful but walkable to pretty much everywhere! And if not, there’s great tram links and buses nearby. Highly recommended, thank you! :)

Michelle's place is easy to find, very comfortable, and could be in an ideal location, depending on your needs. Michelle's place is walkable distance to Holyrood and depending on your fitness levels to the whole of the royal mile. We were warm when we wanted, cool when we wanted, and the beds and other furniture were perfectly comfortable. Having an iron and hairdryer - those little details - were a plus. There's a washer to sort out travel clothes, and a hang-dry rack. The showerhead is good for up to about 6'2" tall, or 190cm perhaps. In short, Michelle's place offered a great refuge from days doing the traveler and tourist things, and each night we were happy to come 'home' to the house. We're glad we chose this place and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

We loved Kate’s place. It’s very clean, cozy, and it’s in a quiet street. The beds and pillows are very comfortable which is something to look forward to after a long day of walking and sightseeing. There are restaurants and groceries within walking distance. I highly recommend Kate’s place.

We’ve been using air Bnb for ten years now and Michelle’s place is one of the best places we have stayed at. Great apartment. So comfortable and peaceful. Really clean. Lots of thoughtful touches. Has everything you could need. You’re a 10 minute walk from the playhouse theatre, and great restaurants and the shopping centre. Excellent tram service through the city and from the door to the airport. Michelle was super responsive and helpful and we would Definitely stay again. The parking space and the outdoor space was perfect for our family stay.

We had lovely few days here,the flat was lovely and warm and it is very quiet although ground floor and on road never heard traffic or anyone above us. The flat is more spacious inside than looked from photos overall was very clean and we would stay again. You are only 5 minutes walk to Asda and Newhaven harbour and five minutes walk to bus and tram stop straight into Edinburgh,we paid £12 for family day ticket on tram getting on and off throughout the day and only took 20 minutes journey. We also visited royal yacht Britannia (15minutes walk) and Edinburgh zoo was 20 minutes by car. Giles was really responsive and friendly from booking to check out we would deffintly stay again.

We had a lovely time staying here. The place is exactly like the pictures with a nice view of the city. I would say a little bit away from the touristy areas but not too much of a long walk away and we did buy a tram ticket that took us to the end of the road that was really handy. Lovely place and Levi and Johnny were super helpful with any questions we had. Definitely would come back again!
