We were a family of four with two children ages 9 and 7 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in watamu. My children didn’t want to leave the pool and it was so convenient that it was right outside the veranda. The location is perfect. Right on the beach but so close to walking to lots of restaurants, shopping, etc. you can walk down the beach to hire a boat for a ride to snorkel and dolphin watch, you can walk out to the islands at low tide. We hired Joffit, a local chef at Federica’s recommendation , to prepare breakfast and lunches and do shopping. Would highly recommend to anyone else. It made the stay very relaxing. The flat was perfect for our family. Extremely clean, spacious and we appreciated the minimalist decor. We didn’t notice any loud noise like other reviewers mentioned. We could hear the waves at night. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy Watamu.

Cameron's place was clean, peaceful and central. He was friendly and helpful throughout the booking process. He was responsive throughout our stay and a brilliant host. Would definitely book it again.

just perfect! the location and space was 10/10, such a pretty view and appartment + super central to all we wanted to do (le morne, beaches, the mall, cafés++)! the host was very easy to communicate with and helpful😊

We (2 adults and 1 child) had a great time at Chiara’s place in Eden Island. Chiara was great at communicating and coordinating our stay. Her home is exactly as described. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, in paradise. The place is ideally located to have same (or even better) amenities compared to hotels with the advantage of flexibility and affordability. You can choose to cook at home or a short walk or golf cart ride to the plaza area with lots of choices. Eden island also allows for ease to tour the island or catch a ferry over to the other nearby ones. We had an excellent stay and hope to come back again.

Sidick is a really kind guy, who responds quickly and helpful to messages. Everything was really easy with him. The airbnb was really big, so you have lots of space and we had a nice garden. The location is perfect as it is 7 minutes away from the beautiful beaches and 5 minutes away from a large shopping mall. The small distance to the airport is also a great benefit so we were really happy with everything. Thanks a lot!

Our stay at Tito and Nigel's apartment was great. We have been there before and will come again. The apartment is more beautiful than in the photos, neat and well maintained, equipped with everything you need. It has blackout curtains / I read in one review that there are none / but the view is fantastic, it's a shame to hide it. And above all, Tito and Nigel are truly superhosts, they respond to messages immediately and solve everything immediately. Very accommodating and kind. Thank you for your hospitality. This house is just stunning!! indoor-outdoor living to its fullest.. its exactly like the pictures, if not better- especially outside areas around the pool. Its very spacious, rooms are great, an entertainers dream!!

We lived our stay at the White House cottage. It exceeded our expectations and we would love to return. We are a family of four and it was perfect. The staff was so warm and helpful. Definitely hire the local chef recommendation. We had delicious food in the convenience of our own veranda looking at the ocean. The location right on the beach with the private, expansive grounds was perfect. The house has incredible views and is extremely comfortable. I highly recommend. If you have a big group, try to rent the White House next door and have an amazing holiday with family or friends.

Awesome place! Super host! Great/safe area. Plenty of room to spread out. Peaceful river in the back. Everything was absolutely great during our stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

My wife, I and our three children had a great holiday here. The house is located in a picturesque village surrounded by coconut palms. One of the most beautiful beaches in Kenya is about a 10-minute drive away. We had our own car, so it was not difficult for us to get there, but if you do not have transport, you can always use a tuk-tuk or a motorbike taxi. The beach is beautiful! Next to the house is an ocean bay with mangrove trees. We were very pleased that the house has two excellent SUP boards! At high tide you can ride them through the mangrove forest and it is very, very beautiful! But take shoes with you because there are sharp shells at the bottom. Nice people work in the house. Chef Joseph cooked well and was very kind. Thank him very much! We were lucky with the weather, it was not stuffy at all, so we never used the fans at night. Thanks to the owner of the house Tom and his team for good memories!

We loved Julien’s place! We travelled with 2 children and the house had everything we needed. The ocean is literally at the end of the garden, you don’t have to pack a lot of things to go to swim just grab a towel, which makes things much easier with kids. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this property. Huge, beautiful outside space and welcoming inside. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. The bedrooms were beautiful and spacious and the beds slept comfortably. Our family especially enjoyed the large dining setup inside and out. The kids had a ball in the play area. We felt right at home and will surely be back in the summer.

Rajesh's appartment has a beautiful view on the nearby river, you can even have a hint of the sunrise. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The appartment itself is quite convenient, with all amenities, and Rajesh and his wife were very kind to provide some drinks and foodstufs on our arrival. Probably one of the best options for a rental on the east coast.

Jonathan is such a wonderful host, there are not many like him. Everything was easy from start to finish, the house is at such a beautiful part of the estate overlooking the water and near one of the golf holes, the pool and the deck were my favoriteparts of the house. The bedrooms are nice and spacious and the lounge and chill area were great. Would love to stay here again and recommend it to everyone

Very happy with our visit at Blue water Villa! Maria is a super friendly and caring host. The apartment was fresh and even included free cold water. Definitely recommend! The only itty bitty thing that we felt was that in our taste, the beds and pillows were a little too hard.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The resort's location on Garoda Beach, arguably the most beautiful beach in Watamu, is fantastic. We appreciated the convenience of being right by the beach, with easy access to the resort's sunbeds and pools. Additionally, it was nice to be within walking distance of places we enjoy (LichtHaus, the gym at Temple Point, and Kobe restaurant) We had the opportunity to stay in both the double room and the Cactus apartment. While we thoroughly enjoyed the Cactus apartment, the double room could get some improvements (real double bed and not twin beds put together for ie and some refreshments in the decoration).

This place was not only beautifully furnished, clean and in a very secure and prime location! Everything you need is provided, well stacked kitchen, endless supply of towels, and if anything was missing Susan and Hamisa the wonderful housekeeper were there ready to support immediately! I can not praise them or this place enough! The location is perfect! It’s right on the beach front, surrounded by many fantastic restaurants, bars, and boats for trips! We saw dolphins on a trip and went on an elephant sighting! It was magical! At the end of the day, it is peaceful and quiet to have a good night sleep and start the adventures again! I highly recommend Susan’s beautiful flat and will definitely be visiting again! I’ve already shared it with several friends, who I am sure will visit soon! L’appartement de Jackline est conforme à la description et aux photos, il est fonctionnel et très bien placé. La salle de sport, la piscine ainsi que la boulangerie sont de vrais avantages. Nous recommandons et si nous sommes de nouveau de passage à Nairobi, nous reviendrons! Merci.

J'ai passé un excellent séjour dans le studio de Patrick. Très bien situé en centre ville et très calme. Le logement est très propre et bien fourni. Vraiment, je recommande. Patrick est un hôte très réactif et bienveillant.

Nous avons passé 1 semaine dans ce logement très agréable avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. Le balcon avec vue sur mer est un vrai plus. C’est un festival de couleurs au lever comme au coucher de soleil. L’accès aux commerces et aux restaurants est très facile. Une place de parking est à disposition . L’endroit est calme. Les plages sont accessibles à pied. Les 2 salles d’eau et la configuration de l’appartement permettent un séjour à 4 très confortable. En conclusion, une expérience à vivre ! Et même à revivre !

Victor nous a été d’une grande aide avant notre arrivée à son logement. Il s’est assuré que nous ne manquions de rien! Merveilleux séjour, vue magnifique!

Jo is very friendly and responsive. Eden Island is our favorite place in the world and Jo's place made it possible for us to have another peaceful vacation in Eden Island. Only issue in Eden Island is the internet. It is very slow, so I recommend to download any movies you would like to watch at night before you arrive here and enjoy the peace :)
