Dundee : locations de vacances

Not only will you enjoy this wonderful accommodation, but you are on a street with great entertainment and loads of happy, friendly people to toast and celebrate with you. We made many new friends during our stay. can't wait to go back again.

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr besonders. Tim besitzt ein schlossartiges Anwesen in einem Park mit schönen alten Bäumen und einer herrschaftlichen Auffahrt. Vor dem Haus befindet sich ein gepflegter riesiger Rasen mit Gartenmöbeln, die zum Verweilen bei schönem Wetter einladen. Auf dem riesigen Grundstück stehen außer Sichtweite andere Häuser, die wohl früher der Landwirtschaft dienten? Noch heute kommen manchmal Pfaue auf das Grundstück und auch einige Rehe haben wir gesehen. Das Apartment ist stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und haben uns am ersten Tag sogar einige Eier von ihrer eigenen Hühnern geschenkt! Die Unterkunft können wir sehr empfehlen. Allerdings ist die Anreise mit dem Auto oder Mietwagen empfehlenswert, weil das Anwesen am Stadtrand von Dundee liegt und man erstmal ein paar hundert Meter durch das Grundstück fahren muss, um zum Balmuir House zu gelangen.

Lovely stay, warm, clean and tidy, everything we needed and more. Spacious accommodation for a family of 8 and great we could take the dog too.

We were a family of four generations (12 wks - 83 yrs) and a dog. Laura's home accommodated us all really well, everything we needed was provided for and more. Such thoughtful touches such as hamper on arrival, treats for Barney (plus bedding etc.) highchair and bibs for our toddling grand daughter. Toys, games, books ..... Warm, clean and very comfortable. As a location it was great to be able to walk out from, harbour, parks, supermarkets and takeaway 5-10 mins walk. Stunning views across the river from the house (whatever the weather) and garden. Additionally a variety of activities within a short drive: beaches, museums, swimming pool..... Tentsmuir beach and playground with cafe was our top enjoyable outing. Laura was easy to contact, responded quickly, a great host. Would certainly stay again and highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed staying at Katies place! The room and bath is spacious, clean and lovely decorated. Katie is an easygoing host who served a wonderful breakfast. She always made sure we have everything we could possibly want. She even kept heating on for us, not being used to chill temps .. thanks Katie!

An absolutely amazing place with a fantastic host! The location was perfect, the space was clean and cozy, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The host went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place—100% worth it! Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay at Ferry View Cottage. Accomodation spotless and really well equipped plus comfiest bed ever. Amazing views to broughty castle and over the Tay. Simon is fab and was on hand immediately when we got a bit lost in the dark checking in. Broughty Ferry well worth a visit with everything close by including a lovely sandy beach and lots of independent wee shops and pubs plus a Tesco open late. Quite a steep incline for anyone with mobility issues but was good exercise for us! We travelled via public transport from Edinburgh which was easy to do. Looking forward to returning again in the summer.
