This is truly a gem. It's a sweet little cottage that has a genuine cozy feel to it. It also felt very roomy and had a very inviting lived-in feel. It has everything you could EVER need and fully stocked with all the essentials for cooking and entertaining a small family. Donna was a wonderful host and we fully intend to stay with her again next year!

Jim was a very responsive host! The listing was so peaceful and beautiful for a getaway. It's also a very close walk to the beach so it was a wonderful location to get some fresh air.

It's a wonderful place to get away. Quiet and peaceful. A short walk to the Town Beach or a short drive to beautiful Hammonasset Beach State Park. Trish gives you your privacy but is also super responsive if you have a question. The cottage has everything you need , with quality appointments. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. There are lovely "extras" such as a wagon with beach chairs and a sun umbrella, pour over coffee and fixings, and a day bed on the porch. There's a laundry in an adjacent building with a book exchange and an herb garden. Locally, there is excellent New Haven pizza, lobster and breakfast spots. In neighboring towns we enjoyed excellent Pho and Indian curries. One note is that "pets allowed" turns out to be limited to small, well behaved dogs, so should probably be specified.

We absolutely loved this little bungalow and can’t wait to come back! It is so close to the beach and there are a couple restaurants and bars within walking distance. A ton of other restaurants and bars less than a 10 minute drive away. And Trish is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! We chose this Airbnb specifically because it was dog friendly and really wanted to give our oldest girl (13) at least one more beach vacation. Trish was super accommodating with the dogs and the beach was calm and perfect for them.

Nice cottage on water, scenic channel in back, large tides, beach atmosphere, totally good. Fairfield is a nice town 10 mins drive. friendly neighbours. Cool place, Not far from NYC. Thank you Nadia.

I would definitely recommend staying at Ivan’s place! It’s a great spot to stay if you’re taking a trip, or just looking for a getaway from home. It was very peaceful and private. It also has an amazing view of the water, which you could see throughout the entire house, due to the windows in the living room and bedroom. The view from the porch and backyard is great as well! I didn’t get to enjoy the dock or the kayaks that they offer for guests to use. But I will definitely be keeping this place in mind for the warmer months!

The place was great! And the recommendations were spot on - awesome host who answered all our questions! The only downside is you do need a car to get to almost any beach- it’s not as walkable as we first thought. When we were there, most of the beaches were closed due to bacteria from the storm but we found other things to do based on recommendations (Aquarium, Dino Place, Mystic Pizza/ice cream/exploring). Also, there’s a great captian (Eric) of a sailboat right around the corner you can charter (Sailworks). Lastly, this house is clean. We have two small children, and cleanliness is important and the house was perfect.

Kimberly’s home is absolutely beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. The large windows and skylights and surrounding wooded area give it a peaceful indoor/outdoor feel. We loved watching a family of deer (including two adorable fawns) running through the yard throughout the day. This was quite the novelty for us since we were visiting from nyc. The kitchen is VERY well equipped and intelligently designed. Kimberly clearly loves to cook and was generous in allowing us to use her personal cookware and spices. Her bathrooms are beautiful and tranquil as well. The living areas and outdoor seating are very comfortable and we enjoyed spending time and relaxing there. We visited for a week with our 15 month old son and he had a blast jumping with us on Kimberly’s trampoline and throwing balls around in her basement (she has a basketball hoop/balls and ping pong table but he hasn’t yet mastered those sports in his young life). Beyond the actual home itself, Kimberly was a fantastic host. She was easily reachable through text throughout our stay in case we had any questions or issues. She also went out of her way to provide us with suggestions and kid friendly ideas for the area. She even left a toy drum from when her kids were younger out for our son to play with. We are very glad to have found this home and had Kimberly as our host.

Snug cosy little cottage, very quiet and clean. Fully matched our expectations. It's located in a nice neighborhood very close to Rowayton and a short drive to SoNo (South Norwalk) and Darien. Heather was very welcoming, responsive and helpful. we stayed with our two adult children and the four of us were very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. We are going to look for excuses to visit again. Thank you Heather!

When I planned a weekend to meet a friend in Hartford to just hang out and attend the flower show. We were looking for something where we would be safe, comfortable and close to the city. Carlos and Angela's place was perfect in so many ways. The neighborhood was residential and felt safe. The house is exactly as described in the listing. A few little extras that stood out were the solar lights to light up the walkway and driveway at night, the phone charging night tables , the self defogging bathroom mirror and the goodie basket that was waiting in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the house itself was spotless. Carlos and Angela were fantastic communicators. Any questions that we had were answered quickly and completely. I would reccommend this property to anyone traveling to hartford or the surrounding area.

We had a excellent week at Feelin Nauti, comfortable beds, quiet location. Great community feel, plenty of nearby playgrounds for the kids, Reefshack was great for a lobster roll, and walking distance from Penfield Beach.
