Manuela was there to greet us and show us around. She answered our questions and had local restaurant recommendations. ( Cais 20 was my favorites and within walking distance ) There also is another restaurant nearby Jardim do Mar, with a small play area for kids. The house was exactly as depicted and clean. The view of the water is amazing. This location is close to downtown and night life. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Miguel is a very nice host and we loved staying at this little stone house on the coast of São Miguel near Nordeste. It it literally a little piece of paradise on Earth. The garden is really beautiful and we watched the sunrise almost every morning. It felt like waking up in „The Shire“ with its rolling green hills :) Communication with Miguel was super easy and he was very responsive and quick. He even welcomed us to his place in person and gave suggestions for activities and places to eat. We would certainly recommend staying at Miguel‘s place. It it the perfect home base for exploring the entire island. I would have loved to stay longer and would come back anytime! Highly recommended :)

Super clean and very nice host. Everything was provided. BBQ with a ocean view! Just be prepared for the small uncomfortable double bed mattress.

Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in Deinem Apartment, Helena. Die Kommunikation war stets unkompliziert und perfekt; Helena hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und alles erklärt. Die Unterkunft entsprach den Fotos. Alles war sehr sauber und die Lage der Wohnung ist toll: in wenigen Schritten ist man direkt am Meer - unmittelbar am Meerwasser-Schwimmbad. Wenige Meter entfernt befindet sich der tolle schwarze Sandstrand, wo man toll den Surfern zusehen kann. Vom unteren Balkon kann man das Meer ein Stück sehen, vom oberen Balkon aus hat man einen noch schöneren Meerblick. An der Promenade kann man kilometerweit entlangwandern. In der Unterkunft gibt es alles, was man braucht. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und die Betten bequem. Die Unterkunft eignet sich hervorragend, um sich zu entspannen. Es war in der Nebensaison sehr ruhig und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für alles, Helena!!

Our experience was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We were so surprised that Eugenia greeted us with a pot of soup and fresh bread that helped make our first evening there much easier. The home has everything you need, a great kitchen and the sound of the waves to put you to sleep at night. The patio was absolutely amazing for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Eugenia is an amazing host and stayed very accessible to us. Very responsive to questions and requests. We work when we travel so we asked if there was an extension cord available for us to be able to sit on the patio with our laptops. Rui, her husband, showed up within minutes with one for us to use. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Casa completa, amplia y limpia. Camas cómodas, y el exterior muy agradable. Está céntrica pero es muy tranquila. El coche lo puedes dejar a la puerta y puedes ir andando a comprar,. Nos encantó el detalle a nuestra llegada.

Joanna’s place was fully refreshing, relaxing and stress free. Here you can really enjoy the privacy in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The air and the environment is very clean. Enjoying the beautiful ocean water and sunshine is really the best part of being here in the Azores. The extraordinary views of Pico make it a very interesting location. Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Die gesamte Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben über das Neue Jahr ausgiebig gekocht und die Küche ist dafür perfekt ausgestattet. Die Lage eignet sich wunderbar für Ausflüge auf der ganzen Insel. Orte wie Furnas, Sete Cidades oder Nordeste sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Filomena & Miguel sind tolle Gastgeber und haben uns sehr warmherzig Empfangen. Bei Fragen waren beide stehts erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Danke euch für die tolle Gastfreundschaft, wir kommen definitiv wieder:)

Wir haben Ende Februar fünf tolle Tage in Marias Unterkunft verbracht und hatten eine schöne Zeit. Da es zu dieser Zeit auch etwas kühler (ca. 13°C) werden kann, war es super, dass dicke Decken und auch ein beweglicher Heizkörper vorhanden waren. Die Klimaanlagen können auch zum Heizen genutzt werden. Der Blick und der Garten sind unglaublich schön und Maria hat uns auch Feuerholz zu Verfügung gestellt. Die Kommunikation lief super.

Amazing house with 3 bedrooms and perfect location with a direct view of the ocean. Would love to be back! Host was very responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay. All descriptions were accurate.

We enjoyed staying in this accommodation very much. Everything was clean and comfy. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Only thing that could be better was breakfast, that was the same every day and there wasn’t many things to choose from. Overall experience was pretty good though. 👍🏻😊

Das Haus von Ludovic und Sandra gehört zu den besten Unterkünften, die wir auf den Azoren jemals bewohnt haben. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf das Meer ist der Wahnsinn. Hier konnten wir auch im Dezember jeden Tag die Sonne genießen. Lagoa ist ein schöner Ort, der einige Geschäfte, Restaurants und mehrere Supermärkte zu bieten hat. Das Naturschwimmbad ist nur einen Steinwurf von der Unterkunft entfernt. Von Lagoa aus kann man mit dem Auto alles gut erreichen. Ludovic ist ein sehr zuvorkommender Host, der sehr schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert und uns viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben hat.

What an amazing location for a stay in the Sao Miguel island. Extremely conveniently located less than 15 minutes from the PDL airport. Lots of parking available and even a garage for smaller vehicles (we had an SUV so it was a bit too big to fit). The neighborhood is up on a hill and very peaceful so you will get the best sleep while you're here. Even though we were in the Azores for the "off-season" the roof top patio is perfectly located that you get full sun all from sunrise to sunset and was a great place to relax throughout the day. The team managing the property are wonderful and extremely responsive, with numerous suggestions and helped our group set-up some much needed spa time while we were here. The home is exactly like the pictures look, but the photos don't do it justice for how spacious it is. Great spot and would happily stay again!

My family and I stayed for a week, they left and then friends joined me for a week - so 2 weeks in all. The pool was cool (it was january) but some did try. The hot tub was fabulous and was enjoyed by everyone. The house is spacious and perfectly clean and tidy with good supplies. The owners and the cleaning service were very helpful and responsive to any messages which was appreciated. The island is wonderful and we loved everywhere we visited.

Wir hatten eine tolle, erholsame Woche in Hugos Appartment. Pool und Whirlpool waren grossartig, insbesondere für die Kinder. Die Wohnung war sehr gepflegt. Ausblick auf das Meer toll, Möglichkeiten zum Baden im Meer zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir können das Airbnb nur empfehlen!

Our stay at Pedro’s place was beautiful, well equipped with everything we nedeed and perfectly clean. Veronica was easy to talk to, explain us everything and we felt more than welcome.

I've stayed in hundreds of airbnbs and this was definitely one of the best. Even though it was just two of us, there was plenty of room for much larger groups. The apartment is centrally located and less than a 10 minute walk to the town and the beach. We had no issues finding parking in front of the apartment. The wifi worked great (~136Mbps) for two digital nomads that needed to have reliable internet. Guido was very accommodating and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ponta Delgada

Judith's place is absolutely fantastic! My family (parents, wife, brother-in-law, and their baby) stayed at this wonderful home, and it had one of the best views we’ve ever experienced. The co-hosts, Manuel and Carla, were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. They even brought us fresh cheese, milk, butter, and breakfast for a small additional fee—it was worth every penny! Terceira is a beautiful island, and staying at Judith's place made our trip even more special. We highly recommend it!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The views are amazing, and it is very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub is relaxing after a busy day and a great place to watch the ocean. It offers lots of extras such as windows and a ceiling that open, as well as a TV and Bluetooth speaker. The animals are also fun to have around and keep you company. The area is very nice; there are many things to do within a very short distance. Everything was very clean and organized and well thought out. We will definitely be back if we ever find ourselves in Sao Miguel again!

Amazing host! He thought every single detail for the guest, we had everything we needed ( speaker, gift basket, chargers etc.) the house was super clean, the view is amazing and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Also Roberto and his brother Carlos are super nice. Overall, We would definitely come back here!

Sehr saubere große Wohnung, nah zum Strand, angenehme Kommunikation und Betreuung durch die Gastgeberin, gut zu wissen: die Decken sind aus synthetischen Material: Gefahr dass man schwitzt…aber alles andere war super!
